Longley Concrete wins three Scottish contracts

Longley Concrete has secured three contracts to supply its precast concrete products in Scotland.

One contract is with Gama Aviation, and will see the supply of hollowcore flooring and staircases for Aberdeen Airport. The second contract is for the supply of lift shafts and staircases to Elgin High School. And finally, the company will be supplying its staircases into South of the City School, Aberdeen.

Longley Concrete’s Ireland factory typically manufactures and supplies into Scotland for the Group. The business also has manufacturing bases in London and West Yorkshire.

All three companies will be taking bespoke staircases from Longley Concrete. The staircases are manufactured in Castledawson, Londonderry and the site has recently expanded its production space to facilitate the increase in demand for staircases and lift shafts. The new manufacturing space has enabled a 25% increase in production.

Longley Concrete will be exhibiting at Scotland Build 2016 at Glasgow SECC, 23 / 24 November.
