Record Sales for Longley Concrete in May
Longley Concrete is pleased to announce record sales for the month of May, with the highest volume of flooring ordered since the company’s inception 70 years ago.
The majority of the business has come from orders of precast concrete beam and block flooring, an area of the business Longley Concrete has developed recently with the addition of a new concrete bed at the Yorkshire plant, which has added an additional 10% production capacity.
The significant volume of beam and block flooring orders has helped boost the business’ success and this, coupled with increased sales of Insulated Flooring, Hollowcore, Staircases and Lift Shafts, has contributed to the record month.
The incredible success of May follows a number of extremely strong months which has resulted in Longley superseding last year’s annual turnover already, despite the fact that there are two months left of the financial year to run.
Managing Director Michael Longley said: “Our recent success has come from our investment in people and technology. We believe that people are one of our greatest and most valuable assets. We keep a keen eye on the future to ensure Longley is well positioned to stay ahead of its competitors. These results are credit to everyone in, and associated with, the business.”
