New starters at Longley Concrete
Longley Concrete has been expanding its precast concrete business with the addition of three new starters.
Luke Helliwell and Adam Reyner have both joined as estimators within the beam and block department, while Laura Webley joins as an administrator.
Luke previously worked in Field Sales for Strong Energy, the leading UK supplier of renewable products for solar, biomass and heat source pumps. Prior to this role, Luke worked as an estimator/designer in the same industry and worked with companies like Willmott Dixon and Keepmoat. Luke started off his career by training to be a plumber whilst also playing semi-professional rugby league. Adam joined Longleys in May and worked previously at Sheridan Fabrications as a Drawing Office Supervisor, producing technical drawings to aid the manufacture of kitchen work surfaces. Adam began his working career as a Building Surveyor for Amey/White Young Green and while there he obtained his National Diploma in Construction Management followed by City and Guilds Levels 1 to 3 in Autocad Design.
Laura Webley joined the company in January as an administrator in the beam and block department. Laura has previously worked in both administrative and sales roles, mainly for Columbia Metals Ltd in Halifax.
Managing Director Michael Longley commented “We are pleased to welcome Luke, Adam and Laura to the team at our head office in West Yorkshire. The business has been successful in attracting and retaining high quality people over the years and we hope that our latest additions will be with us for a long time. The business continues its growth plans with investment in new people, new technology and new products. “
