New Starters in Longley Team
New Starters join the Longley Team
Longley Concrete would like to officially welcome two new starters to their expanding team, with the arrival of Luke Harrison and Connor Waterhouse.
Luke Harrison joins Longley from Hoyer UK Ltd, Huddersfield where he was their Lead Transport Controller/Dispatcher for over four years. He will be filling a new position for the business as Assistant Route Planner and his primary role will be to assist the Head of Planning on the logistic side in addition to getting involved with some general administration. Prior to working in Huddersfield for Hoyer, he was a Movement Controller for the British Army for 10 years based at Hannover Airport, Germany.
Connor Waterhouse also joins the business this month in the Beam and Block Estimating Department. He graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2016 with a Bsc (Hons) Construction Management degree. Connor’s dissertation covered construction communication and BIM; his experience in both these topics will be useful to Longley’s as the business moves forward. Since leaving University a year ago, Connor has been working two jobs and he joins Longley at a time when the company is investing heavily in staff and equipment to manage higher volumes of enquiries and concrete sales.
Longley Concrete is excited to welcome these two new team members, both of whom will play key roles in the continued growth of the business.
