Longley Concrete staff members take part in Tough Mudder

Longley Concrete is pleased to announce that members of the team will be taking part in Tough Mudder in support of Help 4 Heroes.

Participating will be Sam Prideaux-Clare, Henry Tang, Rob Donoghue, Luke Helliwell, Sharon Barnes and Adam Reyner. The event is the weekend of 29th July at Broughton Manor in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

Tough Mudder is often considered one of the hardest challenges a person can put themselves through. It is a 12-mile obstacle course which includes wall climbing, mud crawling and much more. If you are interested, you can find more information here: https://toughmudder.co.uk/events/2017-yorkshire

Offering her support to the group taking on the challenge, Technical Director Vanessa Dunkley said: “Longley Concrete has always been keen to support local and national charities and the challenge these six are taking part in is no different. They are hoping to raise as much money as they can for this great causes.

“Everyone at the company would like to wish them the very best of luck in their training and for the day and we hope that they meet their fundraising goal.”

If you would like to support the team, you can donate by clicking here. They are hoping to raise over £1000 which can be used to provide support and rehabilitation for ex-servicemen who have fought for our country. They have recently done the Wakefield 10k as a practice run.
