Longley Concrete at Scotland Build
Longley Concrete will be exhibiting at Scotland Build 2016 on 23rd and 24th November at Glasgow SECC. Visit MD Michael Longley and Sales Manager Matthew Lindores on stand B41.
Scotland Build focuses exclusively on construction opportunities in Scotland and is one of the leading events for the Scottish construction industry; the exhibition will feature over 150 exhibitors and over 70 speakers in a 2-day conference. Longley Concrete will be available to discuss their range of precast concrete products including flooring, lift shafts, staircases, and stadia.
Longley Concrete has recently secured a number of contracts to supply its precast concrete products in Scotland. One contract is for the supply of hollowcore flooring and staircases for a new hanger and reception area in Aberdeen Airport. A second contract is for the supply of lift shafts and staircases to Elgin High School. Longley has also installed new precast concrete stairs to the Aberdeen Art Gallery as part of the redevelopment of the Grade A listed building, and they will also be supplying their staircases into South of the City School, Aberdeen.
Longley Concrete’s Ireland factory typically manufactures and supplies into Scotland for the Group. Longley’s staircases and lift shafts are manufactured in Castledawson, Londonderry and the site has recently expanded its production space to facilitate the increase in demand for staircases and lift shafts. The new manufacturing space has enabled a 25% increase in production.
