CE Marking Approval for Longley
Based in West Yorkshire, Longley Concrete Floors, has been successfully audited and approved by BSi for its Factory Production Control.
This means that all of the Longley Concrete products will continue to carry the CE mark, for the second year running. Longley first became CE accredited in 2013, as the new ruling came into force in Europe. The CE Mark is now mandatory for most concrete products manufactured in Europe and ensures consistency, with companies meeting a set of standards for production.
Longley’s precast concrete product range includes Beam and Block, Hollowcore, Tetris and Beamshield flooring as well as Lift Shafts and Stairs. The business works with many of the leading house builders across the UK including the Galliford Try Group, Barratt Homes, Ben Bailey, Redrown and Gleeson. The business has also recently been successful in retaining continuing its ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations for environmental considerations and quality management.
